ABOUT ME
I'm Luca Ayres, a photographer with a degree in Social Communication and Performing Arts. I started my career as an advertiser and currently I dedicate myself to photography and theater.
Photography entered my life in 2003, when I was still studying communications at college and came into contact with this art form. My relationship with the camera was natural and spontaneous; it felt like an extension of my body and my vision. In the last 6 years, I have photographed in countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the USA. I had the opportunity to participate in Art Basel in Miami, one of the largest art exhibitions in the world. In addition, I have works for sale in different spaces in the digital environment.
As an actor and communicator, I understand the importance of working with one's image. Therefore, I develop work aimed at professionals such as models, businesspeople, artists, freelancers and entrepreneurs who need to take care of their images in different social media compositions.
The lenses of my camera reveal who people are, or how they would like to be seen by their audience. How can I translate skills, passions, personality and power into images? That is my challenge. In my work, I seek to combine two very important factors: the artist's sensitivity and the techniques for better photographic composition.
